GRAMPIAN - Donald T. "Beany" Rafferty, 60 of Grampian, died Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Warren State Hosptial.
Mr. Rafferty was born July 19, 1917, at Grampian, the son of George J. and Jeanie (Smith) Rafferty.
He was a building contractor for a number of years.
Mr. Rafferty is survived by his wife, the former Ruth Hepburn; one son, Donald D. of Bloomingburg, N.Y.; and one daughter, Mrs. David (Sharon) Tubbs of Curwensville R.D.
Also surviving are six grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Leslie, Mrs. Partick (Elizabeth) Crilley. and Mrs. LaRue Cummings, all of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Art (Jean) Brennan of Emporium; Mrs. James (Elda) Wise of Grampian, and Smith and Rella Mae, both of S. Daytona, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Allen Kent, seven brothers and one sister.
Services will be held from Russell H. Lininger Funeral Home, Wednesday at a.m. The Rev. William Rice will officiate, and interment will follow at the Crown Crest Cemetery.
Friends will be received tomorrow from p.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
