Jimmie Bryant, 80, of North Little Rock, passed away September 17, 2013. Born in Lenore, West Virginia to Boyd and Bessie Evans Bryant, he was a U.S. Army and Air Force veteran. He was a member of the VFW and worked at St. Joseph's Home.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother, Freelon Bryant, sisters, Lucille Workman Bryant and Marie Rushing, and brother-in-law, Marvin Rushing.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Bryant of North Little Rock and David Bryant and wife, Carla of Frisco, Texas; brother, Freddie Bryant; sister, Carol Markham; sister-in-law, Dorothy Bryant of North Little Rock; and grandchildren, Justin Bryant of Little Rock, Lauren Bailey of Lincoln, Nebraska and Madeline Bryant of Frisco.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held Monday, September 23, at 1:00 p.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, officiated by Dr. Bob Dunaway.
