Kelly Lynn Turner was born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky on November 14, 1969 to Sandra "Faye" Driver and the late Roy Marshall Turner.
Besides his father; grandparents, Sammie and Maudie Turner and Earlie and Clara "Nell" Driver also preceded him in death.
Kelly married the former Carolyn Moore on May 23, 1992 sharing twenty-one years together.
He was an avid sportsman that loved the outdoors. Kelly loved to hunt deer and turkeys mostly. He also liked to go boating with his family and riding 4-wheelers.
His job fit Kelly's life style, he was a Taxidermists. Hunters came from all around to Kelly's shop for him to mount their prize possession.
Kelly also worked for Kyle Gammons for several years.
He was a kind and caring man who loved his wife and family. Kelly would help anyone that needed him.
Kelly was of the Baptist Belief.
On September 14, 2013, at the age of 43 the Lord called Kelly home. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Funeral services for Kelly Turner are scheduled to be conducted on Tuesday September 17, 2013 at 11AM form the Chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home, with Elder Kyle Gammons and Brother Jeremy Yokley officiating. Tim Collins, Shane Wood, Michael Wood, Daniel Wood, Randy Wheat, Derrick Wheat, Heath Turner, Shaun Turner, Steve Turner, Greg Turner, Jacob Bandy, Jeremy Bandy, Wayne Hesson, David Gaines, Greg Jones, Tommy Smith, Michael Jent, Greg McAmis, Randall Gregory, and Brandon Gregory served as Honorary Pallbearers. Kale Rich, Karry Rich, Billy John Smith, Brandon Pharis, Shannon Carter, and Eric Knight served as Active Pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Isenberg Cemetery in Tompkinsville, KY.
