Roy "Frog" Turner, 69, of Scottsville, Ky died at 3:21 P.M. Tuesday, Ocotober 13, 2009 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Gamaliel, Ky native was a retired employee of Apeks Apparel, a former member of the National Guard and member of Enon Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Sammie E. Turner and Maudie Ann Rich Turner.
He is survived by his Wife: Cassie Wood Turner, Scottsville, Ky;
1 Son: Kelly Turner and wife, Carolyn, Red Boiling Springs, Tn;
1 Daughter: Cheri Rich and husband, Karry Dale, Tompkinsville, Ky;
2 Step Sons: Mike Wood and Shane Wood, both of Scottsville, Ky;
2 Brothers: Jimmie Turner and Roger Turner, both of Gamaliel, Ky;
3 Sisters: Wilodean Turner and Mary Ann Turner, both of Gamaliel, Ky; Darlene Wheat and husband, Ronnie, Tompkinsville, Ky;
4 Grandchildren: Brandi, Kara, Kenzie and Kale Rich;
2 Step Grandchildren: Daniel Wood and Kaci Wood;
2 Step Great Grandchildren: Anslee and Tristan Walker;
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: William Rex Turner, Addis J. Turner and Eugene Turner and 3 sisters: Elizabeth Burnette, Margaret Veach and Ceva Lee Turner.
Funeral services for Roy "Frog" Turner will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 16, 2009 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Wix, Bro. Murl Wix and Bro. Kenneth Wix officiating and burial in Isenberg Cemetery in Monroe County, KY.
