Mrs. Jean Martin Lay, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the Park West Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Martin, Atty., sister: Patricia McDonald, Sister and Brother-in-law Helen Shoemaker and husband Floyd.

She is survived by her 4 children: Chuck Martin and wife, Sharon of Knoxville, Carla Martin of Washington, DC, Christopher Martin of Knoxville, and Curtis Martin and wife Wylie of Atlanta, GA; 7 Grandchildren; Sisters: Virginia Henderson and Nancy MacDonald; and cousin Carolyn Meltzer, many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral services at 1:30 on Saturday, September 21, 2013 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida with Rev. Philip Kazee officiating.

Burial will follow in the Carson Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida is in charge of the arrangements for the family of Mrs. Jean Martin Lay.
