Description: Cayce — A graveside service for Roy E. Faulk, Jr., 80, of Cayce, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2008 in Woodridge Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Lonnie H. Shull, Jr. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Thursday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society , 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.

Mr. Faulk passed away on Monday, September 15, 2008. Born in Tipton County, TN, he was the son of the late Roy E. and Ruby Faulk. He had been an area resident since 1971, formerly of Memphis, TN and was a member of First Baptist Church of West Columbia.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Mary K. Faulk of Cayce; daughter and son-in-law, Estelle and Bud Davis of Leesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Conyers E. Faulk of Cayce, Terry M. and Polly Faulk of Cayce, Lynn F. and Connie Faulk of Pelion; three grandchildren and one great grandchild; sister and brother-in-law, Yolande and Morris Patterson, Collierville, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rayburn and Shirley Faulk of Rushville, MO, Rodney and Elizabeth Ann Faulk of Memphis, TN, Paul Faulk of Memphis, TN.
