Dorothy Ann Leone Broussard, age 72 of Starks, Louisiana, passed away suddenly on August 7, 2013 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania while caring for her mother.

Dorothy was born on April 2, 1941 in Saint Thomas Virgin Islands to her parents Roland A. Leone, Sr. and Zaida E. (Delagarde) Leone and then moved to Pennsylvania. From there she moved to the Port Arthur, Texas area in 1976.

Dorothy married Michael Broussard in 1999 and moved to Starks Louisiana and they were happily married for 14 years. She enjoyed working in the yard and being outdoors but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and her little dog Gretchen.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her father Roland A. Leone Sr. and siblings Renee (Leone) O'Shea, Roland Jr., Jon and Stephen and her stepson Jason Barnett.

Dorothy is survived by her mother Zaida Leone of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her memory will be cherished most by her spouse Michael of Starks Louisiana, daughter, Cathi Hagen LaBure of Baytown, Texas and her children Teri Hagen and Cayci LaBure, her daughter, Darla Barnett Holley of Groves, Texas and her children, Jaimi Lynn Smith, Cheyenne Smith and Christianna Holley, her daughter, Michelle Gonzalez Kelly of Houston, Texas and her children David Gonzalez and Keith Blundell, and her son, Matthew Kelly and special daughter in law Donna Butler of Brenham, Texas and children Matthew Butler, Ryan Kelly, Dylan Kelly and granddaughter Madison Kelly.

Great-grandchildren are David, Levi and Brylee, her stepsons Jesse and Max Barnett many nieces, nephews and her extended Broussard family.

A memorial service will be held at Levingston Funeral Home at 5601 39th Street in Groves, Texas at September 21, 2013 where the family will be greeting friends and relatives from 2-4pm.

A private graveside ceremony will follow at a later date at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas ~
