Life's Work/Service/Interests: In 1938, Ruth married Reed Biddulph in the Salt Lake Temple. A graduate of the University of Utah and recipient of the California Master Teacher Certificate, Ruth taught secondary school in Utah and California for over 35 years, helping influence and shape the lives of thousands of young people. A gifted teacher, she was active in the LDS Church, serving as Junior Sunday School Coordinator for over 17 years and in other auxiliary positions throughout her lifetime. An indomitable spirit; thrift, hard work and a zest for life were her native attributes. Her passions were her love for the outdoors, sports of all kinds and especially camping with her husband, children and grandchildren at the family cabin in Aspen Grove. Ruth moved with her family to Santa Barbara, California where she resided for 54 years until her declining health necessitated a return to Provo to be closer to children and grandchildren. Ruth Anita Morris Biddulph died Sunday, September 15, 2013, in Provo, Utah. She was 96.
Survived By: Three children: Sherri Turner of Fort Collins, CO; Morris R. Biddulph of Phoenix, AZ; and Patti Kemp of St. Louis, MO; 23 grandchildren and 69 great-grandchildren.
Preceded In Death By: Her husband, Reed; daughter, Vicki Stonely; and grandson, Leland Biddulph.
