Eva was born August 25, 1920 in LaSalle, Colorado and had been a resident of Roseburg since 1927.
She was first married to Howard R. Marsh on June 22, 1945 in Kelso, Washington, who passed away in 1971.
She then married Clifton M. Saar on July 22, 1973 in Reno, Nevada who passed away in 1983.
She graduated from Roseburg High School. Eva worked in the sheriff's office for five years, the district court for two years and the department of motor vehicles for 20 years, 14 of those years as manager of the motor vehicles office in Coquille, Oregon. She retired on July 1, 1973.
She was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church in Roseburg. She was a charter past president of the Coquille Emblem Club #266 and past president of the Roseburg Emblem Club #267, a member of the Roseburg Women's Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, the Roseburg County Club and Roseburg Historical Club, the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Chapter and the E.C.W. Of the Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her son, Edward G. Marsh, Jr. of Lufkin, Texas, and Bridgett L. Geiger of Eugene, Oregon; five great-grandchildren.
One sister, Dora Mickesh, preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held in St. George's
Private entombment was held in Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
