HARTER, Antonia S.
born June 9, 1919, in Casa Grande, Arizona, passed away September 7, 2005, in Lancaster. She is survived by her sons and their wives, 8 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 17 great- great-grandchildren and 2 sisters. Antonia was preceded in death by her husband Leo; brother Frank Saine and grandson Mark Tapia.

Antonia was a chef for 33 years, working at the Antelope Valley Inn, China Naval Base, CBS Studios and The Rolling "J". She had the privilege to cook for President Kennedy when he came to see China Lake. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2005, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapel, Lancaster with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, September 12, 2005, at Sacred Heart Church. Interment to follow at Joshua Memorial Park.
