Married Christopher William Dain in Livingston County, Missouri August 9, 1874. After his death, she and her three youngest children migrated to Larned, Kansas where her daughter May had settled. They eventually went on to Oklahoma and stayed with relatives until they could file for land and build a sod house. The women frequently returned to Kansas to cook for migrant harvest crews. Daughter Vida Elsie "Grace" died of typhoid fever in Kansas. Her brother George accompanied Grace's body back to Chillicothe for burial and received word there that his mother had died soon after Grace.
Daughter Nina Myrtle Dain Bealmear (Simeon Dodson Bealmear #97399012) of Oklahoma has not yet been located. (Simeon died about an hour before his only child Celeste Bearmear was born.) Nina Myrtle died 15 September 1965 in Enid, Oklahoma. Celeste died 24 December 1991 in Enid, Oklahoma.
