Frances Rule

ILLIOPOLIS — Frances Rule, 63, of Illiopolis died at 6 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 2, 1989) in St. John's Hospital, Springfield.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in The Church of Visitation, Illiopolis. Burial will be in Arcola Cemetery, Arcola. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the family home in Illiopolis, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home of Illiopolis is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Feb. 13, 1926, in Douglas County, a daughter of Andrew Jackson and Elizabeth Stepro Barnes. She married Kinahan Rule June 25, 1966. He survives.

Other survivors include on sister, Mrs. Victor (Catherine) Mahr of Cape Coral, Fla.

Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

She was a bookkeeper for Scaife's Florist, Springfield, and was a member of The Church of Visitation.

Memorials may be made to the Sarah Dake Chapter 525 of OES or to the donor's choice.
