ORVILLE ALLSUP RITES MONDAY AT ARCOLA
Funeral services for Orville Allsup, 74, formerly of Decatur, will be at 2 p.m. (CST) tomorrow in the Shrader Funeral Home, Arcola, with burial in the Arcola Cemetery.
Mr. Allsup died at 9:30 p.m. Friday following a heart attack while visiting his sister, Mrs. Fern Smart, 3870 N. Water St.
He was an active golfer and had been living at the Kaskaskia Country Club near Arcola. He was formerly a farmer and race horse owner near Maroa.
Born June 25, 1882, near Maroa, he was a son of Warner and Alice Allsup.
He leaves a son, Milburn of Des Moines, Iowa, two sisters, Mrs. Fern Smart of Decatur and Mrs. Zelva Kaplinger of Maroa.
Friends may call this afternoon and evening at the Shrader Funeral Home.
