Lillian (Fredlund) Saulsbery, 86, formerly of New Milford, passed away on September 11, 2013 at Bethel Healthcare Center.
Lillian was born in Bridgewater, Connecticut, January 8, 1927, daughter of the late Henry and Verna (Krusky) Fredlund, Sr. She graduated from New Milford High School. Lillian was a resident of Bridgewater for over 70 years.
She is survived by her daughter: Dr. Constance Saulsbery of Nashville, TN; a beloved brother: Henry Fredlund and his wife Mary of Danbury; nephews: John, Joseph, Michael, and Peter Fredlund and their families; a step grandson: William Beck and his family; and her precious grand dogs.
For many years, Lillian enjoyed working as a bookkeeper at B.W. Smith & Sons. She was later employed for over 15 years at Burndy Corporation. She was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church, New Milford. Lillian enjoyed baking, helping others, and spending time with her animals, family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bethel Healthcare for their compassionate and skilled care during Lillian's long illness.
