Mrs. Dellinger was born April 6, 1927, in Shenandoah County, a daughter of the late Staylor Aldine and Willie Helmeta Lloyd Anderson.
She worked at Byrd & Fredrickson Packaging for a number of years. She was a member of Morning Star Lutheran Church in Orkney Springs.
On Oct. 25, 1944, she married James W. Dellinger, who died Jan. 19, 1980.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Phillips, Mount Jackson; four sons, Billy W. Dellinger, Mount Jackson, William F. Dellinger, Basye, Dale Dellinger, Orkney Springs, and Roger Dellinger, Timberville; three brothers, Carrol Anderson, Mount Jackson, Jimmy Anderson, Broadway, and Raymond Anderson, Fulks Run; one sister, Judy Mongold, Timberville; six grandchildren; one step- granddaughter; and two step- great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Morning Star Lutheran Church by the Revs. James Dodds and Sherry Teves. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Saturday at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
