Son of Edward H. and Thelma (Menke) Kramer. He married Charlotte Shawgo on November 24, 1962 in Havana.

Mr. Kramer is survived by his wife; son, Bryan Kramer; daughter, Chris Kramer; five grandchildren, Paige, Haley, Brandon, Connor, and Justin; one brother, Delbert Luie Kramer; nephew, Kurt Luie Kramer; and niece, Kayllene Clymer.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Kramer served in the US Army during the Korean War.

He received a Bachelor's Degree from Bradley University and worked for Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria as a machinist for over 35 years.

He volunteered his time doing cemetery maintenance at Soldier Hill at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
