1781 Foster was set off and Abraham was appointed Assessor of Rates. also a Revolutionary War Veteran.

married Eunice Hill, dau of Daniel Hill and Elizabeth Eddy

second married Eunice's sister Sarah Hill, who was relict of her first husband John Eddy. She was also a dau of Daniel Hill and Elizabeth Eddy.
