Carrie Buck, 98, formerly of Annville RD 1, died this morning in the Palmyra Nursing Home where she had been patient for the last 10 1/2 years. A native of Paxtang, Dauphin County, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Susan Gerberich Houck. She was a member of the Palmyra Church of the Brethren. She was the widow of Jacob A. Buck, who died in June, 1962. She is survived by six sons: Jacob Jr., Hershey; William, Bethel; Herman, Annville; Allen, RD 1 Annville; Harry, Grantville RD 1; and David, Annville RD 2; and one daughter, Bertha, wife of Joseph Batz, Annville RD 2; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Allen Houck, Palmyra. Interment in Grantville Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
