Watertown- Eleanor Watson, 82, Rt 37 Watertown, passed away Wednesday evening at her home under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson Co.

Private services and burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Watertown. There are no calling hours. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County, 1398 Gotham St., Watertown, NY 13601. Arrangements are with the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.

Eleanor was born in Barnes Corners, September 19, 1930, a daughter to Harley and Evelyn Lehr Watson. She worked at Bomax for many years until the plant closed. She later worked at the Partridge Berry Inn for several years retiring in 2008 at age 78. Eleanor enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and for several years bowled in a Friday night league at Pla Mor Lanes in Watertown.

She is survived by two daughters, Christine (Jerry) Meece, Watertown; Sandra Catalfamo, Albany. A son Robert (Lori) Watson, Massachusetts. 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Three sisters Margaret Sweet, Black River; Shirley Kaiser, Carthage; Ruth Ann Copeland, Canton. A brother. William, Texas. Several nieces and nephews. Eleanor was predeceased by a son Peter Catalfamo in 1985, two brothers, Harley and Carlton, and a sister Doris Murray.
