Clismie married Jane Evans and their children were Ellis, Anna, Polly, Edward, Phoebe, Samuel, and Harvey. Samuel married Elizabeth Chaney. They had a son, Samuel II, who had a son named Roy Riggs. Roy Riggs is a famous genealogist.
