Edwin D. (Zeke) Rhodes, Sr., 81, formerly of Penbrook, died peacefully at the Bently Assisted Living Facility in Susquehanna Township. He was a retired federal employee, a former member of the Penbrook Shade Tree Commission, a life member of the Penbrook VFW Post 1718, a 3rd Ward Republican poll watcher for many years and a Navy Veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bingaman Rhodes; 2 daughters, Jacqueline Kepner and her husband, Dr. James Kepner of West Hanover Township; Becky Schmidt, wife of Albert Schmidt of Camp Hill; 3 sons, Edwin D., Jr., husband of Karen Rhodes of East Hanover Township; Douglas, husband of Connie Rhodes of Chambers Hill and Thomas D., husband of Amy E. Rhodes of Baltimore, MD; 10 grandchildren, John Kepner and Julie Kepner Rokita, Christopher, Aaron, Brett, Jared, Tessa and Gabriel Rhodes and Ryan and Erin Schmidt.
