Muncie-Jack Lee Duncan, 76, passed away early Thursday morning, September 12, 2013, at the Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. He was born on August 8, 1937, in Muncie, the son of William E. and Cleo (Doggit) Duncan.
Mr. Duncan had been a Machine Operator for General Motors for 33 years prior to his retirement having worked for both Chevrolet and Delco Battery. Jack was a member of the Coon Hunter's Club of Blountsville and the United Auto Workers Union. He enjoyed hunting; fishing and taking care of smaller farm animals. Mr. Duncan was said to have been a work-a-holic.
He is survived by four sons, Donn Duncan, Selma and Michael, Bruce and Steven Duncan all of Muncie; eight grandchildren, Kenzie Duncan, Selma, Drayk Duncan (wife-Katlin), Muncie, Jessica Duncan (fiancé-Todd Kidd), Cowan and Stevie Duncan, Selma, Kara, Krista, Brice and Brianna Duncan all of Muncie; six great grandchildren;
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Robert Decker, William and Ernest Duncan; two sisters, Patricia Lilly and Marjorie Lindley.
