, 92, retired farmer; Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
Bud Oren Zink, formerly of 502 Wilson St., died Sunday at the Flint Hills Manor nursing home.
Mr. Zink farmed for many years in the Hartford and Lebo areas. He had lived in Emporia since 1967, moving here from Lebo. He was custodian at the First Presbyterian Church for three years before he retired in 1975.
The son of James Sherman and Emma Cline Zink, Bud O. Zink was born at Hartford on Dec. 17, 1896. He married Esther M. Post in Emporia on Sept. 12, 1921. She died Oct. 29, 1977. He married Gladys Jarvin on Nov. 17, 1978, in Emporia and she died Dec. 11, 1985.
Mr. Zink is survived by two sons, Dean Zink of Lebo and Lewis Zink of Emporia; two daughters, Louise Hobert and Marian Chandler of Emporia; four brothers, Vernon Zink and James Zink of Albany, Oregon, Oaurice Zink of Raytown, Mo., and Harley Zink of Emporia; four sisters, Ruth Kerth of WaKenney, Donna Lynd of Topeka, Margaret Walliser of Cassville, Mo., and Dorothy Plummer of Emporia; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Four sisters, two brothers and a grandson, Donnie Wilson, died earlier.
Mr. Zink was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2587.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry Myers of the Lebo United Methodist Church will conduct the service. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to the Emporia Senior Center may be sent to the funeral home.
