Victoria Traicheff, 53 of 360 N. Grant Av died Monday at her home. A native of Yugoslavia, she resided in Columbus for 27 years.
Wife to Lazor Triacheff.
Mother to Margaret, Helen, Charles, Anna, Francis, and William.
Preceded in death by brother Vangel Konstantin Sugareff.
Sister to Chris Sugareff, Mike Sugareff, and Kifka Sugareff.
A native of Yugoslavia, she had resided in Columbus Ohio for 27 years.
She was a member of of the Greek Orthodox Church.
Her brother Vangel Konstantin Sugareff: Born in Monastir, Bitola, Macedonia, he came to America in his youth. He obtained his bachelors degree from Syracuse University in 1917 and his masters from Harvard in 1918. He was a professor at Texas A. & M. begining in 1923.He traveled extensively in Europe. He was chosen by the war department to speak to the enlisted personnel in Army camps, talking on historical subjects and giving them a better background and conditions. When he passed at age 57 from a heart attack he was survived by 2 brothers.
Her other Brother was Michael Kotoff Sugareff and was 80 when he passed. A native of Yugoslavia, he lived most of his life in the US. He was a staff sergeant in the US Army serving in France and the US in WW2.
