Granby, Mo., Jan. 12.-Funeral services for Enos Darnell, prominent banker, who died at 8:45 o'clock Monday morning, will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the First Baptist Church.
Death came at Community Hospital in Granby following a stroke suffered January 1.
Mr. Darnell, who was presidentof the Citizens State Bank long had been active in civic and church life in Granby. He was a member of the Masonic and I.O.O.F. lodges and a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and had served the church in a number of capacities. At the time of his death he was superintendent of the church school.
He operated a mercantile store here for many years before becoming associated with the bank.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lola Darnell, two sons, Neil Darnell of Duncan Okla., and Lloyd Darnell of Shawnee, Okla., a daughter, Mrs. Al Ferrara of Independence, Mo., and four grandchildren.
Burial will be in Granby Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Culver-Shewmake Funeral Home.
