"Phillip C. Stump, 66, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Portland, passed away May 24, 2006, in Lakeland, Fla.
He was born Feb. 4, 1940, in Portland, the son of Bill and Dorothy (Werner) Stump.
He worked for TRW in Portland for 30 years.
He also was the construction coordinator for Habitat for Humanity in Lakeland for two years. He loved fishing and farming.
Phillip served his country for six years in the National Guard.
He is survived by three daughters, two brothers, five grandsons and one great-granddaughter, Jasmine Manning.
A memorial service was held June 9 at the Lehman Funeral Home in Portland.
Interment was in Portland Cemetery."
