Lifelong County Resident Dies In Hospital At Two Rivers
Louis Kaufmann, 62, lifelong resident of the county, died Sunday morning at the
municipal hospital in Two Rivers. He was removed to the hospital six weeks ago
from his home on Route 1, Mishicot.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. from the home and at nine
o’clock from the Holy Cross church, Mishicot. Burial will be in the Holy Cross
Cemetery.
Mr. Kaufmann was born on a farm in the town of Two Rivers in 1874. He married
Miss Leona (sic-Lena) Koch 39 years ago. They located on the present homestead
20 years ago.
Survivors are the widow; a son, Raymond, city; a brother, Joseph, Chicago; two
sisters, Mrs. Anna Bunker, Plattville, Wis., and Mrs. Elizabeth Westgate, Chicago;
and four grandchildren.
The body was removed to the home near Mishicot from the Pfeffer funeral home.
