The Chilcoat family is well documented in the histories of Ohio.
Susan married David James Wood on 10-15-1871 in Praire County, Arkansas. He was already married at the time back in LaSalle County, Illinois.
Please check out his bio in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Neosho, Newton County, Missouri. I have entered a long bio there.
By census Records we know they had 5 children, in which 2 died as infants. The three that lived into adulthood are, Rosa Bell Wood-Cook listed here in this cemetery. Junie Wood Hutchison-Mabes listed in the Odd Fellows Cemetery with her father David James Wood. And last Cora Lee Wood-McCurdy buried in the GAR Cemetery, Miami, Ottawa Co. Oklahoma.
I have Susan's obit.
