"DEATHS
Mrs. Fred Riepe.
Mrs. Fred Riepe died at 2:10 o'clock Monday morning in her home, 516 South Twelfth street, of pneumonia, after an illness of four days. She was born in Germany, August 22, 1845, and was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical church and of the Ladies' Aid society.
Mrs. Riepe leaves one son, William Riepe; five daughters, Mrs. G. Warning of Ursa, Mrs. J. Nottbeck of Kalamazoo, Mich., the Misses Lena, Anna and Julia Riepe of Quincy. Nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive."

Additional: Per her daughter Lena, the obituary for Lena Riepe states the correct/same family relationships (as H. F. Vogelsang Riepe), and that Lena's mother d. 19 Feb 1923. The IL Death Index for Lena Riepe, a transcribed collection, has the mother's name as the person who *likely* was actually the informant. But the Lena Riepe obit contains the full information. Lena Riepe died in 1923, not long after her mother had died.

"Miss Lena Riepe, 516 South Twelfth street, died at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning in Blessing hospital, after an illness of one week. Miss Riepe's mother, Mrs. Fred[ricka] Riepe, died Monday, February 19.
Miss Riepe was born in Marion county Missouri, December 27, 1871. She attended St. Peter's Evangelical church, and for 32 years, was employed at Weems laundry.
A brother, Henry Riepe, preceded his sister in death.
She leaves one brother, William Riepe, Quincy; four sisters: Mrs. G[ottlieb] Warning, Ursa; Mrs. J. Nottbeck, Kalamazoo, Michigan; and the Misses Anna and Julia, Quincy."
