OLD LYME, Conn., March 8 ~ Miss Katharine Ludington, a trustee of Connecticut College and a charter member of the Cosmopolitan Club of New York, died at her home here yesterday after a brief illness at the age of 83. She was born in New York, a daughter of Charles Henry Ludington, banker.

Miss Ludington, who was a founder of the National League of Women Voters, had been president of its Connecticut affiliate and of the Connecticut Women's Suffrage Association.

A sister, Mrs. Arthur G. Rotch of Boston, survives.]
