Carol Jean Miller, age 70 of Marinette, passed away June 9, 2008 at her home. She was the daughter of Estelle Lieburn and the Late James Lieburn; born June 5, 1938 in Rock Falls, IL. She graduated from Marinette High School in 1956 and married Jack Miller on May 10, 1995. For 15 years, she was involved with the American Cancer Society and served as President of the Marinette County Chapter for 2 years. She owned and operated a ceramic ship for several years and continued doing ceramics and painting up until her death.
Her husband Jack 'Doc' survives, along with four daughters and three sons: Lori (Gary) Kmiecik; Cheryl (Harry) Brown; Mary (Mark) Armbrust; Robert Mojzych, Daniel (Karin) Mojzych and Darren (Wendy Dionne) Mojzych, all local residents and Becky (Lee) Landenberger of Kenosha, WI; a step-daughter Jacquie Hughes of Scottsdale, AZ; a special-like-a-son Ronnie Hilton; 15 grandchildren; 3 special-like grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; her mother, Estelle Lieburn; four sisters: Pearl Raygo, Karen (Gerald) Roetzer, Linda (Dan) Linczeski and Jinny (Ben) Stewart; a sister-in-law Evelyn Lieburn and a brother-in-law Kent Kostelecky. She was preceded in death by her father James, a grandson Nathan Danhauer, a brother Wesley Lieburn; a sister Donna Kostelecky; a brother-in-law George "Wimpy" Raygo; a niece Deanna Linczeski and a friend Vi Salfai.
