OBITUARY-
Victoria F. (Sippel) Shaw, 91, of Austin, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, at the Adams Nursing Home.

She was born April 12, 1911, in Little Falls, to Joseph and Mary (Kolodgy) Sippel. She grew up in Albert Lea and graduated from St. Theodore's High School.
On Oct. 14, 1935, she married Robert R. Shaw in Albert Lea. The couple moved to Austin shortly thereafter.
Victoria was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church where she was active in the Rosary Society. She was a volunteer at the Philomathian Library. She was an accomplished seamstress, loved to garden, read, listen to music and dance and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Robert R. Shaw, Austin; son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Mary Shaw, Duluth; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Kellogg, Hastings; Suzanne and Roger Schweich, Hastings; Vicky and Craig Huber, Virginia Beach, Va.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, George Sippel, Austin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Daniel and Fred Sippel; and sister, Dorothy Sippel.

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, with a 4 p.m. rosary and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Service: 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father William Becker officiating.
Interment: Calvary Cemetery.
Funeral Home: Mayer Funeral Home, Austin.
