A infant son was born to Henry W. Barr and Pearl Florence (Simpson) Barr on Tuesday, October 3, 1916 and died a short time later.

Corning friends will greatly sympathize with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Barr of Carbon in the loss of their baby son born Tuesday morning. The mother was formerly Miss Pearl Simpson of this city.
