Maxine Park Foote, 91, of Idaho Falls, died peacefully Friday, July 22, 2011, at Lincoln Court Retirement Center, from natural causes. She was under the car of Onesource Home Health and Hospice.

Maxine was born June 21, 1920 in Ririe, Idaho, to Alfred Henry Park and Cora Probart Park. When she was the age of seven, the family moved to Osgood. She had many wonderful memories of life on the farm.

She married Eugene Jones on December 24, 1936, and a daughter, Sharon, was born. Maxine and Eugene later divorced. On February 28, 1944, she married Donald R. Foote and together they had two daughters: Mikki and DiAnn.

Maxine was a wonderful seamstress; she loved making school clothes and wedding dresses for her girls. She was a gifted quilter – many of her quilts won blue ribbons at the Eastern Idaho State Fair. She also enjoyed oil painting and leaves behind many beautiful landscapes and florals. She loved gardening and reading. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her daughters: Sharon (Richard) McCafferty of Idaho Falls; Mikki (Larrie) Fitch of Shelley; and DiAnn (Leslie Blakeman) Foote of Idaho Falls; her grandchildren: Lori (Jon) Dick, Jeni Eborn, Diane (Ralph) Wheeler, and Brian Sprague; her great-grandchildren: Janel (Jeff Davis) Dick, Shanon Dick, Zachary Eborn, and Hadley Eborn; her great-great-grandchildren: Violet Wilson, Jaxon Beal, and a boy expected in September, Raynn Davis; her longtime friend Betty Ritter, and many special friends at Lincoln Court, especially Billie Mayfield.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; grandson, Chris Wickham; brothers, Delbert Park and Carlos Park; and her sisters, Arletta Pass and Barbara Green.

The family would like to thank Onesource Hospice and the wonderful staff at Lincoln Court for their loving care and support.

Memorial services will be held at a later date under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be sent to Onesource Hospice, 3544 E. 17th Street, Suite 201, Idaho Falls, ID 83406, www.onesourcehhc.com.
