Elaine Burgess Davis, 55, passed away on the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Outreach of Love, 3591 E. Highway 199 between Azle and Springtown. Committal: 12:30 p.m. in Whitt Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. She was a tremendous wife, a phenomenal mother and a loving grandmother. Though a quadriplegic for 30 years, Elaine was well-travelled, loved by and touched the lives of many people with her positive attitude. Church was a big part of her life; Elaine was there every time she could be there and enjoyed praising the Lord with her beautiful voice. She was a light of joy to everyone around her and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Survivors: Elaine is survived by her husband, Jack Davis; daughter, Rochelle Davis; grandsons, Gabriel and Hayden Davis; father and stepmother, Jack and Shirley Burgess; brother and sister-in-law, Duane Burgess and Charice Mink; 19 nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives.
