Musso, Kathleen Mary Allen, age 82, passed away January 8, 2022 after a brief illness.

She was born in New Kensington, PA on November 10, 1939 to parents Sara and Joe Allen. The family moved to Port Lavaca, TX when Kathy was a young girl, where she grew up with her four siblings; Mike (predeceased), Pat (predeceased), Charlie and Teresa. Affectionately known to many as Kathy, Cassie, Mom, Grandmommy, Mimi, Aunt Cass, she was a devoted wife, mom, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Kathy graduated from Port Lavaca High School in 1957, where she was captain of the basketball team, captain of the cheerleading squad, Miss Calhoun High School and homecoming queen.

After graduation, she started dental hygiene school at Caruth School of Dental Hygiene, where she met her husband, Dr. Frank Musso, who was then a student at Baylor College of Dentistry. They married on August 19, 1961 and resided in Dallas, TX, and were married until Frank's passing on June 14, 2004. Together they raised 4 boys - Joe, Mike, Mark and Bob.

She later married Frank Ribelin in 2009 and were together until his passing.

Kathy's greatest joys in her life were her 4 boys, 12 beautiful grandchildren, traveling, music, and above all, her faith in The Lord. She was steadfast in her faith from early on in her life until her passing. She was a member of the Notes of Joy- an all-women guitar and vocal group in St. Rita parish throughout the 1970's, where her love of music began. Throughout her life, she guided and mentored many young people, including teaching them the power of prayer and fellowship and the importance of having a personal relationship with God. She opened her home weekly to a group of over 25 high school girls for "prayer & share". She formed and hosted a women's prayer and fellowship group weekly for over 30 years in her home – they called themselves The Flock, touching so many lives along the way.

She is survived by Joe and wife, Priscilla, and their 3 children; Michelle, Stephanie, and Jennifer. Mike, and his 3 children, Matt, Michael and Kristin. Mark and his wife, Shonda, and their 4 children; Emily, Taylor, Jake and Zach. Bob and his wife, Kate, and their 2 children, Bobby and Mark. She is also survived by her brother Charlie and his wife Sharron and her sister Teresa Allen, as well as many nieces and nephews.
