WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP -- Eldreda "Dot" H. Robbins Gafgen of Robbinsville, died Sunday in Hamilton Hospital, Hamilton. she was 77. Born in Trenton, Mrs. Gafgen had been a Mercerville area resident all her life. She was a member of the Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary and the Mercer County R.S.V.P. with over 17,000 hours of volunteer service. She also had the highest number of hours of all R.S.V.P. volunteers for the past six years. Wife of the late Elmer T. Gafgen and mother of the late Thomas O. Gafgen, she is survived by a son, Elmer C. Gafgen of Robbinsville; a daughter, Virginia Gladwell of Trenton; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. Burial will follow in Groveville Cemetery.
