Mrs. Adams was the daughter of Coy and Maggie Johnson Whitley. She was the wife of a farmer and enjoyed many days of rewarding activities on the family farm. She also worked at the North Wilkesboro Hosiery Mill and was an accomplished gardener, quilter, and embroidery artist. Mrs. Adams lived a long and prosperous life in the community that was near and dear to her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wheeler Adams; and several brothers and sisters.
