Cindy J. Davis, 64, of Sayre, Pa., passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013. She was born on July 4, 1949 in Sayre, Pa., the daughter of the late George and Jane Frisbie Levering.
Cindy volunteered most of her free time at the Salvation Army Church. She worked as an LPN at the Ashton Healthcare Facility. Cindy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is predeceased by a son, Jeremy Davis and brother, Jeff Levering.
Cindy is survived by her children Chris and Jenn Davis of Candor, N.Y. and Lori and Jason Hunsinger of Milan, Pa.; grandchildren Jocelyn, Joshua, Courtney, Elijah, Emily, and Madison; her siblings and their spouses: Steven and Gussie Levering of Sayre, Pa., Mike and Sandy Levering of North Carolina, Linda and Terry Gowan of Litchfield, Pa., and Judy and Jack Duff of Horsham, Pa., as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and family may call on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 from 1pm-2pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Captain Debra Stedman and Captain Timothy Shaffaer officiating from the Salvation Army Church.
Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, Pa.
