Monroe M Edwards, of Mt Airy.
Monroe Edwards died last Sunday morning at his home at Mt Airy, Clay Township, of indigestion, after a few day's illness. He was aged 46 years, 4 months, and 27 days.
The deceased is survived by his wife Annie, nee Carvell; his mother, Mrs. Caroline Edwards, and these children: Callie, at home; Raymond, of Durlach, and Erla Showers, of Durlach. These brothers and sisters also survive:Lizzie, wife of Alfred Corl, of Schaefferstown; Ella, wife of George Ruth, Hopeland; Frank, of Brickerville; Annie, wife of Harry Haldeman, of Lexington; Maggie, wife of Milton Fasnacht, of Brickerville, and John, of Schaefferstown.
The funeral was held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock, with services in Miller's meeting house, at Mt. Airy, and with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev N I Fake, of Hopeland, officiated, and Funeral Director H M Mellinger, of Denver had charge.
