Frank Wilson, prominent Muncie attorney who retired five years ago from practice, died at Parkview Nursing Home Sunday evening. He was 88 and formerly lived at 310 S. Council St.

Mr. Wilson served as city judge from Jan. 1, 1939 through Dec. 31, 1942 under the administration of Mayor Ira Wilson. He was a member of the Indiana Bar Association and High street Methodist Church. Before coming to Muncie he had been a school teacher at Corydon.

A native of Dearborn, Ind., Mr. Wilson attended Indiana Normal School at Terre Haute and Indiana University.

Surviving are his wife, Ary; a daughter, Mrs. Gordon West, Ft. Wayne; a sister, Myrlie Manlef, Milan; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Services for Judge Wilson will be held at Meeks Mortuary 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3 until 5 and from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday, and any time before the services Wednesday.
