Kirk H. Mower, age 64, passed away March, 7 2013 in West Jordan Utah.
He was born on July, 2 1948 in Mt. Pleasant Utah to Cleston Max and LaRue Vance Mower.
He was the 8th of 10 children. His early years were spent in Oak Creek, Utah. When he was six years old the family moved to Bountiful, Utah. He graduated from Bountiful High School and then from Officer Training School in Ft. Benning Georgia.
He is a Viet Nam War Veteran.
Kirk was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend.
He is survived by his children, Kirk (Elizabeth) Dittmar; Stephanie (Eric) Foutz; Shell Scott Mower; Taylor Mower, all of West Jordan, Utah; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Siblings, Sharon Kimber and Kerry Mower, Bountiful, Ut; Pat (Richard) Rawlins, Woods Cross, Ut; Marlene (Merlyn) Powell, Millville, Ut; Scott (Kathleen) Mower, Sandy, Ut; Clark (Sandra) Mower, Mountain Green, Ut; Janean (Larry) Blake, St. George, Ut; Richard King Mower, Salt Lake City, Ut;
He will be welcomed into heaven by his parents, a daughter, Ruby Baldwin and a sister, Joan.
A memorial will be held in his honor Monday March 11th at 6:30 p.m. at the Murray Memorial Mortuary 5850 South 900 East Murray, Utah 84121.
