Billy Rose Beam

DENISON - Billy Rose Beam, 58, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at her home in Denison.

Rose Carr was born September 22, 1954 in Winnfield, La., the daughter of Douglas and Wanda (Lee) Carr. Rose attended Denison schools throughout her youth. She loved good gospel music and it was hard to come up with a classic that she was unfamiliar with. Rose married Eddie Beam on January 24, 1986 in Denison, and they spent the next 27 years together raising a family and serving the Lord. Mrs. Beam loved her husband, children and grandchildren beyond measure and she will be deeply missed by them until they meet again in Heaven.

Mrs. Beam is survived by her loving family, husband, Eddie Beam; daughter, Guinnevere Simons and husband Kirk; son, Mike Downs and wife Jennifer; five grandchildren, Piper, Fisher and Archer Simons, and Joseph and Benjamin Downs; mother, Wanda Carr; two brothers, Terry Carr and wife, Sabrina, and Tim Carr; and two sisters, Frances Burns and husband Rocky, and Gracie Stubbs and husband Keith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Carr; and brother, Thurman Carr.

Funeral services for Mrs. Beam will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Bro. Marlin Harp officiating, and interment following at Cherry Mound Cemetery. Family visitation time will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Fisher Funeral Home.
