Early Life: Harry was born in Pleasant Grove, Utah, on September 16, 1915, to Vern LeRoy and Ruby Henrietta Kruse Halladay. He spent his childhood in Provo and graduated from Provo High School in 1934.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: On August 2, 1941, Harry married Myrtle Tanner. He served in the United States Army from 1941 to 1944. He and Myrtle moved to Denver, Colorado, in 1949. He was employed by J.C. Penney for 40 years, working as a sales promotion manager. Harry enjoyed riding Harleys, carpentry and building things; he was also a Ham Radio Operator. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Harry served as a temple ordinance worker in the Denver Colorado Temple. Harry LeRoy Halladay, formerly of Provo, Utah, passed away October 17, 2001, in Louisville, Colorado. He was 86 years old.
Survived By: His daughter, Marcia Hatch, of Boulder, CO; son, Steve Halladay, of Superior, CO; son, Roy Halladay, of Arvada, CO; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
