Orva was born on April 1, 1908, to William Henry and Annie Margaret Haley Hall in Cash, Macon County, Missouri, where he spent his early years residing. Orva met and married Ann Gilstrap in 1933, together they enjoyed many wonderful years of companionship. In 1942, Orva moved to Portland, Oregon, to work in the defense plants during World War II. While on a trip through Utah, he decided this beautiful place would be where he would raise his family. Upon completion of his employment in Oregon, Orva brought his family to Utah were they settled in Provo. Beloved father, grandfather & great-grandfather, Orva Herschel Hall passed away peacefully in the American Fork Hospital. He was 96 years old.
Survived By: One son; Donald (Dona) Hall, American Fork; two daughters, Barbara Fenton and Betty Loveless; 15 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
