Mrs. George M. F. Arnold died Saturday afternoon at 5:45 o'clock at the home of her sister-in-law, Miss L. F. B. Arnold, 368 1/2 Jackson drive. She had been ill for more than two years.
Mrs. Arnold was Miss Elnora Loretta Bennett before her marriage. She was born Aug 18, 1851, at Oak Center, WI.
On Sept 11, 1872, she was married to Mr. Arnold and they moved to Menasha. In 1878 they came to Oshkosh and had resided in this city since that time.
Survivors are her husband; three children, Mrs. Agnes Random, Oshkosh; George T. Arnold, Topeka, KS; and Mrs. Louis J. Albert, Gresham, WI. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Arnold is also survived by one brother, Homer Bennett of Lamartine, WI. She had been an active member of the First Presbyterian church during her entire residence in Oshkosh and was a charter member of the Woman's Work Society.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Presbyterian church. The Rev. James A. Daum will officiate. Friends may view the remains at the Konrad funeral home until 11 o'clock Tuesday morning and from 12 noon until the time of the services at the First Presbyterian church.
