Margaret E. Catlin, 91, died April 5, 2012, at the Serenity House in Tomah, Wisconsin, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 27, 1920, in Webster, S.D, to Paul and Bertha (Hofer) Reiprich. On June 30, 1945 she was united in marriage to Eldon (Curly) Catlin. He preceded her in death.

Marge attended teacher's college in Aberdeen, S.D., and taught school in that area. After teaching and moving to Wisconsin, Marge worked in many grocery stores, including Cram's in Tomah. She also worked at the Band Box Laundry in Tomah. In addition to her immediate family, she was loved and supported by many friends and members of the Davis and Catlin families. She had a love for good food, her canine friends, Max and Pebbles, and chatting with family and friends. She was an adoring and supportive mother to her daughters and a world- class mother-in-law to Verlyn Davis and Bob Zook. She was a positive role model for all those who survive her. We will miss her greatly.

Marge is survived by her two daughters, Paula Catlin-Davis of Tomah, WI, and Barbara, (Bob) Zook of Leola, PA; grandchildren Michael (Pamela) Zook, Jon (Michele) Zook, Robert (Susie) Davis, Michael (Shelly) Davis and Barry (Lynn) Davis. She has 12 adoring great-grandchildren. She also is survived by a sister, Irene Isburg of Volin, S.D. She was very grateful for her special friends and caregivers, Dan and Donna Albrecht, and to the many other family members and friends who supported her over the years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curly and her son-in-law, Verlyn Davis.

A memorial service was held at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, 762 W. Clifton St., Tomah, WI, on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations were asked to be made to Serenity House, 601 Straw St., Tomah, WI, or Lighthouse Assembly of God Church. The Sonnenburg Funeral Home, assisted the family with arrangements.

Peace to you and those you love.
