Fayetteville, Ga, December 18 - (Special) - Mrs Charles D Redwine, one of the best beloved and most widely known young women of this section died this morning after a week's illness of pneumonia. She was prominent in church work and in everything that tended to uplift the community.
Prior to her marriage 16 years ago to Senator C D Redwine, she was Miss Clifford Burks, daughter of Judge and Mrs S A Burks, of this city.
She is survived by her husband, Senator Redwine and four daughters, Elizabeth, Josephine, Henrietta and Jane Redwine; her parents, Judge and Mrs S A Burks, all of Fayetteville; two brothers, R E Burks, of Detroit; R L Burks of Miami; three sisters, Mrs R T Allen, of Riverdale; Mrs Claud Tidwell, of Zebulon, and Miss Sarah Burks of Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church here Sunday afternoon with Rev H L Byrd, pastor of the Methodist church of Lafayette in charge, assisted by Rev A T Watkins, pastor of the Fayetteville Methodist church, and Rev W J Dehardeleben, of Atlanta, and Rev G W Garner, pastor of the Baptist church of this place. Interment will be in the local cemetery.
