Christopher "Chris" Ryan Lawson, 38, of 379 Rockshire Drive, Martinsville, Va., died Friday, August 30, 2013, at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville/Henry County. He was born on August 4, 1975, to Alvis Leonard Lawson and Rita McPeak Lawson of Martinsville, Va.
He was a member of Rich Acres Christian Church, Martinsville, Va. and graduated from New River Community College with an Associated Degree in Architecture. He was a CAD Draftman for surveyors.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Randy Wayne Lawson and Beth Lawson of Martinsville, Va., and three nephews, Alexander Lawson, Gage Lawson and Reid Lawson.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Rich Acres Christian Church with Minister Tim Hunt officiating. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery, Ridgeway, Va.
