Life's Work/Service/Interests:On December 21, 1939, she married Gene William Dean in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Gene died February 5, 1965. Marcia was known for her maternal qualities and unconditional dedication to her family. Her firstborn twins were overly anxious to arrive and four other children followed. Her husband struggled though illness and accident, but her valiant spirit sustained the family before and after his early death.
